Telefónica calls Spain home, but customers in 25 countries call home with Telefónica. The company provides fixed and mobile phone service across Europe (about 50% of sales) and Latin America (the other 50% or so). Its fixed-line portfolio includes voice, Internet access, cable and satellite television, enterprise networking and hosting, and wholesale services. Its mobile business encompasses voice, messaging, and corporate infrastructure services. Telefónica divides its business into five geographic segments -- Spain, Hispanoamerica, Brazil, the UK, and Germany. Telefonica had 274 million mobile customers in 2014.
